East Bay Goodwill

Goodwill Industries of the Greater East Bay is hosting an anniversary celebration of our new store design, which was launched in August 2007 at our North Oakland Store located at 6624 San Pablo Avenue.  The new store design provides the community with an updated retail experience while illustrating our mission services throughout the store. 

“Goodwill’s donations and retail stores provide the funding to offer our much-needed job training and support services in the community.  We find that many of our donors and customers do not realize what is behind our retail operations, however, which is why we prioritized our new mission-focused store design.  That helps our customers realize that they are not only getting a great bargain in our stores, but are giving back to their community at the same time, with 93 cents of every dollar we earn supporting our programs,” said John B. Latchford, President & CEO of Goodwill Industries of the Greater East Bay.
