East Bay Goodwill

From May 7th through May 12th, Goodwill Industries organizations throughout North America will be hosting events to celebrate Goodwill Week.  Come and celebrate our mission with us by participating in our local events and promotions! 

When you hear “Goodwill,” like many people, you probably think, “Time to clean out the closet” or “Maybe I’ll find a good bargain.”  What many people do not realize is that Goodwill helps thousands of people across the United States and Canada, including right here in the East Bay, who are struggling to find and keep good jobs.  Goodwill helps by selling your donations in our stores and using the proceeds to fund our job training programs.

Thanks to your support, last year alone, about 950,000 people benefited from Goodwill’s career programs across country, including more than 4,500 right here in the East Bay.  Thanks to you, Goodwill Industries places someone in a job every 57 seconds of every business day.
