Calidad Industries, an affiliate nonprofit of Goodwill Industries of the Greater East Bay, invites local community members, partners and potential new partners, to its open house on Friday, October 28^th at our headquarters in Oakland.

National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) is a national celebration sponsored by the federal government’s AbilityOne Program. NDEAM’s focus is to emphasize the need for successful employment of workers with significant disabilities. Calidad announced its official theme for October’s National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM): “Investing in Workers with Significant DisAbilities: Empowering People, Creating Hope.”

This theme emphasizes Calidad’s role in educating the public about workers with disabilities, illustrating that workers with disabilities represent a diverse and vibrant talent pool of qualified workers for hire. As part of this theme, Calidad is planning a series of events, including an Open House and site visits, to raise public awareness and showcase the skills and talents of workers with disabilities. This year’s Open House will be celebrated at the Calidad corporate offices on Friday, October 28^th.
